Question: Sun glasses for surfing?

I want to get sunglasses that I can wear while surfing. Does anyone know what kind are the best? Should I get regular sun glasses? Goggles? Or what. What are the pros and cons of the kinds you guys have tried to surf while wearing? Thanks!

The reason to use sunglasses is this: A pterygium (also known as Surfer's Eye)is a “pinkish-yellow, triangular-shaped tissue growth starting from the nasal area of your eye and grows towards the cornea. I use Sea Specs. They are normal sunglasses so they fog up but goggles did not work for me. I had surgery for a pterygium so it happens. Kids think I am a kook but older surfers know better.

Just buy a pair of glasses that you like and get that band that wraps around them so they stay around you neck....there good to wear while your out there...i wear a hat when i surf....like a visor kinda i guess keeps the sun off your face....Have fun bro and good luck out there.
