This question is for the big wave riders?
Sorry, I feel a little bit embarrassed asking this question, but I'm not sure on this.When you get wiped out on a huge wave 20 ft that comes in a set of 3, 4, 5, what is your surviving strategy, I mean even if you try to duck down but as soon as you pop up on the surface, another huge one is coming, and soon chances are, you may run out of air. Uhm, would the life saving vest be the good option to at least keep you afloat on the surface? I know a life saving vest can hinder your ability from duck diving & avoiding the impact from the huge wave.So what is your surviving strategy when you get wiped out riding the big waves?
Best big wave rider in history?
So many good big wave riders but who is the best ? You got the likes of Laird Hamilton, Eddy Aikau, Derek Ho, Occy, Sunny Garcia. Makua Rothman, Bruce Irons, Mark Foo, Pancho Sullivan, Ross Clarke Jones. I could go on and on. Plus you got Mike Stewart who also rides big waves but of course thats bodyboarding. Kainoa Mcgee also a bodyboarder drop knee a 20 foot wave at Maui Jaws on the island of Maui. Choose a big wave surfer or big wave bodyboarder don't matter just you pick who is the best big wave rider. My personal pick is Bruce Irons. I have never seen anybody surf Waimea better than Bruce. So your pick and why you think this person is the best.
